Our 24 Hour Vet Helpline offers a telephone service, an online chat service and even a video calling service which provides all of our customers a channel to talk through any minor or major health concerns you may have about your dog or cat. This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year for all Paws and Claws customers.
Our four legged family members can’t tell us when something is wrong and with only personality and physical changes as symptoms, it can be worrying for owners when their dog or cat looks under the weather.
Our aim is to encourage owners to be proactive about their pet’s health and at the first sign of trouble our Vet Helpline provides customers with an outlet to talk through their concerns at no additional cost.
The 24 Hour Vet Helpline is provided by VetsDirect which has been trading since 2003 with over 100,000 pet owner interactions each year. All communications are handled by a national and highly scalable network of RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) registered veterinary nurses who have a minimum of three years practical experience and most holding advanced qualifications.

We currently only provide advice for dogs and cats. Because Paws and Claws strive to provide the very best service and advice, we make sure all of our vets are specialists in the canine and feline field. With their experience and knowledge localised in these areas, it enables the team to provide a high level of service to all of our customers.
